• Teacher Judith Kerrigan-Krodel, Jackson Magnet Elementary School, 1st grade. Parts of a Whole, an arts infused project using bookmaking and illustration techniques to build literacy with CVATeaching Artist major Jaclyn Nelson.

• Teacher Jane Spicer, Barton Open School, 1st and 2nd Grades, Solar Systems: A Play and Painting, working with color mixing, painting and printmanking techniques CVA Photography major Christa Meyer worked with students to create handpainted solar system backdrop and handcrafted costumes for the class play.

• Teacher Christopher Nelson, Jackson Magnet Elementary School,5th Grade, Home Documentary, a project promoting visual and written literacy with CVA photography major Rudy Arnold. This project was exhibited at Groundswell Coffee House in St. Paul.

Teacher Kara Johnson, Lincoln Elementary School, 4th grade. Traveling in Their Shoes was a social studies project that used collage to ask questions about immigration and history with CVA Teaching Artist major Jaclyn Nelson.
